Hand Foot syndrymfloridajo said:Bonnie
Thanks for the update and I was happy it went good so far. Why do you need the Eurcerin cream?? It almost sounds like Doxil. I'll be keeping you in prayer and I know this one will be the one to kick some chancer booty!! Seniding love and ((hugz))!!~~Joanne
Hi Joanne, it does cause the hand foot just like doxil, but sounds like it is even worse. So I start with all the stuff as preventative. Had a big red circle on the bottom of my right foot last night and after a couple foot soaks and lots of Eucerin it is almost gone. The pictures they sent with the information shows that when the circles start they blister up. Don't need that and really want to make it at least a month before I have to take a break and go to a lower dose. That is what they do, make you take a break and then possibly try a lower dose. Thanks for cancer booty kicking prayers I know they make a huge difference. Hugs Bonnie0 -
Blessing to you
I am so glad that you checked in, Bonnie. You are such a great inspiration and it is really good news to hear that it is going well so far. Can anyone buy tickets for the quilt? If so e-mail me and I will purchase some. (((LHUGS & PRAYERS)) Saundra0 -

Hi Bonnie, it's good to hear from you.You are an inspiration to this board.I'm going onto my 5th treatment of Doxil. It's been a nightmare with my skin.I hope you don't have to endure what I have been going thru. It seems like you have everything under control. You are always in my prayers.

Hi Saundra, Yes anyone can purchase chances to win and we will ship it anywhere. But do you need a quilt in Texas. :-) It is -35 here this morning, we need bunches of them. :-)0 -
Terry, it is so cold where Bonnie is that her skin is frozen and she is not having so many side effects! LOLladyjogger31 said:Bonnie

My goodness, I can't even get my head around -35 degrees can you? Those MN residents are the toughghest. I am praying that the Doxil treatments get easier for you but doesn't seem to be happening. Are you doing the salt and Eucerin lotion like Bonnie? Bless you for sticking with it. (((Soft Hugs)) Saundra0 -
DEAREST BONNIE!
Thanks for updating us. Glad to hear that you are one step ahead of any nasty side affects. Hope they stay minimal.
Yikes! -35? We have -14 today here in Michigan, much colder further north. -14 is enough for me! Keep warm, stay bundled up with those nice quilts.
Luv you bunches!

Your Update
Hi Bonnie,
Nice to hear that you're getting the treatments! Sometimes I think MN sounds more like Antartica. We were at -7 this morning when we got up because the power went out (it came back on after 1 1/2 hours).
Keep evenly warm...0 -

Hey Susan, Like the new pic and I have to say it is warm inside. NO power loss and lots of wood for the fireplace. :-) Keeping warm..hugs bonnie0 -
Bonnie?
Bonnie has your count been going down good? Mine went down fast with Carbo. It was 14000 in May and NOv it was 4500 then Ind December it started going up again then to 9000. I took a break for 2 months but will be taking Etoposide again it has worked on me before. I don't pay too much attention to numbers other then watching them go down. Hope what your taking now works and that you have a great birthday.
God Bless All and hugs
