I did get my blood work done this morning. CBC, CA125 and HE4 and had my port flushed (keep forgetting to flush once a month - duh).

I was wondering have any of you had the HE4 test done yet?

    Hi Libby, I have never had this test done, I know there has been some research on it that I've read. Could it be your Dr is part of a study?     Hi Libby, I have not had this test. I do get a copy of my blood test each month to refer back to, if needed.
    Anxious to hear more on what you learn. Sometimes this discussion board is the best of information on new things. ((Hugs)) Saundra

    Joanne,

    I found info when I googled HE4. It is another marker for ovarian cancer. I will not see my doctor until February this time as she wants to give me more time to recup from Hexalen. So I will not know what she is looking for in that test until then.

    I will be sure to inform this board as soon as I know.
