I figured out that if I start at the home page, I can find what i need. My life works like that so often - I ask a question, then go explore some more and voila! No applause necessary.
Oh my Lynn, you have made me laugh out loud! Glad you found what you were looking for, thanks for responding to yourself and making me chuckle!

On finding your way around. I had to have soooooo much help when I first came here. But no one seemed to mind. That's the beauty of these lovely people here....they never 'mind', whatever happens. Glad you have decided to spend time with us.0 -
CSN woes!
Why yes~ the reason we don't laugh at you is because when you figure these things out, and then post what you did, those of us who NEVER have figured it out, and were afraid to ask, just got a tutorial! LOL
The "new improved" version of CSN in my less than humble opinion is neither~ I liked the old incarnation, sorta like the comfy pair of shoes. These rather pinch my toes, and I take them off rather than break them in, if you know what I mean!
I have been a member of CSN since 2003...and wait patiently in here to hear what others do to access parts of this site! So thanks! I appreciate it!
Hugs,

Lol Lynn you sound like me.
Lol Lynn you sound like me. I would have probably done the same thing. CSN should have a tutorial handy somewhere. Hugs, Lili
PS I did like the old version better.0 -

It took me a while, and I was one of the first to complain, but I really like the new site! I like that new posts are counted because I used to have to remember which of course I couldn't do so I revisited old posts. And I just love seeing everyone's picture. I feel closer to you all as a result. I like the new typing box MUCH better than the old small window with review before you post. But then, I don't chat much, and from what I hear, chat is pretty tough to do these days.

Well, yes~ the new discussion board forum is fabulous...I think it is the proverbial cat's meow. For all of your above stated reasons,Joyce. The rest of the New/Improved~ well, not so much! For example, we used to get notification in our mailbox ( yahoo, aol, whomever we use) that we had mail waiting on CSN. Much the same as we get when someone replies to a post we originated. I miss that feature. And finding our friends or members we want to find? A nightmare! Life was so much easier using horse-drawn carriages...I don't know what to make of these new-fangled contraptions. Oh , scuse me~ my age is showing and I fell into a time warp even I don't belong in!
I don't want to ACT old and cranky just because of a chronological thing! LOL
Hugs, and, "note to self"~ be thankful!

Hi Claudia, you can still get email advise. You have to go to your profile and place an x on the feature you want notification for. But then, get ready for a deluge of emails. Hugs, Lili0
