    Alas, I haven't ;(
    My dearest friend made awesome pineapple upside down cake as did my mother. Both are now with God and I just haven't been able to bring myself to try either's recipe. But I can taste it even now! :)

    V8 Juice hurt
    I came back from chemo with Oxy today and had a room temperature V8 juice, I am assuming it is from the Oxiliplatin that my entire jaw alarmingly seized up. I have eaten and drank other thanks today since Chemo but the V8 was an ouch.

    Hi Mike,
    I am sorry you are going through this. My poor DH went through this chemo a year ago and I was right along with him. I do remember him having had that same thing happen on more than one occasion when he said his jaw or his throat would seize up and it was pretty scary. He never panicked though, even though I wanted to. It would subside always, and that's good to share with you. Maybe try using a straw or not drinking too much at a time. also not sure how far along on the chemo you are, but if it's early still, I'd mention to your onc and maybe they'll decide to reduce your dosage.
