Going for CT Scan
I am going for a CT Scan and bloodwork on Wednesday for follow up. Getting the willies again but not tooo badly. Keep your fingers and toes crossed for me and say a little prayer while you are at it. If can get passed this checkup I won't have to see the onc for 6 months. Here's hoping. I won't hear anything for a couple of weeks I guess unless something odd shows up. I will let you know how it goes once I do.
Cheers,
Lance

CT Scan
Comparing notes: I just received results from my CT Scan and it was clean; on Dec. 16 I have
the PET Scan and if nothing lights up then I will be scanned again in two months. I have
my surgeon plus my oncologist looking at the results. If all is clear, I will stop the
chemo; I am right now on my last treatment and don't have to see the onc until 12-22 and
that to just review results. Believe me, this is the best Christmas gift I could possibly
receive and maybe I will enter the New Year NED. This is as result of getting recurrence
to liver from Stage 2 colon CA in 2004 and having a liver resection in 2008. Hugs and will
keep you in my prayers and hope you will do same. There is light at the end of the tunnel!0 -
Good luck. I hope all is

Good luck!
I've got everything crossed for you, Lance!! I'm sure everything will be just fine... but now, why do you have to wait a couple of weeks to get the results? Can't you call your Onc or GP in a few days and say, "Well??"

Well I guess I could call in a few days and I must say my onc has always been patient and responsive to my questions. I know the workload that they have at the hospital and I don't like to call unless really necessary. I find that time seems to help with my state of mind. Tomorrow I probably won't be as worried. It is an up and down thing. I do know this though, it is wonderful to have so many caring friends on this message board. It really helps.
