The OTHER "C"-word....
Nothing notable except my 3 'friends' on my liver...
I asked if we need to do anything with them..."Cysts are cysts...nothing needs to be done"!!!
I told my G.P. that my oncologist was dumping me back on him...he laughed, and said "Well, I guess she feels that you are CURED"!!!!!!!
4 years ago, the day after Thanksgiving, I was given the "You have cancer" speech for the rectal, then the breast. So much to be thankful for THIS year!!!! Including all of you, my family here!!!

congratulations !!!
Congratulations Kathi How wonderful remember your stories gives all of us who are still in the middle of our battle hope. So keep telling it.. i was out to dinner last night with my 16 year old daughter and a ladie approached me (she noticed my cap which had a breast cancer ribbon on it) She just wanted to tell me that she had been there two years ago and that things do get better. With every remission story we hear our fear of recurrance deminishis'(sp) just a little.. So congrats and thanks0 -

" C" No Evil!
Happy Thanksgiving, indeed, sweet lady!!!! The waiting game is no fun at all, and yet, sometimes the words we finally hear are sooo worth it!
Thanks for sharing them with us, Kathi~ we love the good news each and every one of us has to share.

That's a "C" word. And a feel good word! I am smilin' for you as I type. I look forward to the day when I can say "I am so many years free of the big "C". Happy Turkey Day!0 -
I am giving thanks...for all of you!!!
I rushed home to post my news here. To many people, a clean scan is really nothing to get excited about...they have them all the time.
But I knew how much you all would know it meant to me...thank you, again, for all of your warm words!!!

Congratulations (large C), on hearing "CURED" (also large C).
May none of us ever have to make the other c, a capital letter again!
