Advanced Breast Cancer + Stomach Cancer

I am a 2-year Advanced BC survivor and have been getting Faslodex treatments monthly since May '08. Two weeks ago, I was diagnosed with a new primary cancer of the stomach and the prognosis is not good. After meeting with specialists, it seems that my only hope, clinically speaking, is to undergo a very invasive and complex surgery, and/or combine chemo with surgery. Either way, the quality of life will change drastically. Is there anyone out there who has gone through the same? Did you stop getting the treatments for breast cancer pre-surgery and if so, what happened? Any information is greatly appreciated.
