Hi all... I just wanted to share my Mom`s milestone... 3 years today.. I´m so so so grateful with God for letting me have her these years which have gone by so fast. Thanks to this time she has shared with me my wedding, my 1st pregnancy and birth of my son, his baptism, my 2nd preganacy, not to mention 3 X-mas and New Year Celebrations, her and my B-days, watching her grandson to be 1 year and a half and hopefully the birth of my baby girl by mid November. It hasn`t been easy for her nor me. she has had as many several treatments and not to many breaks, some pains, etc. I don´t want to be selfish and want her not to suffer much but I´m so happy to still have her around. She is 77 years old and if wasn´t for this.. she is so strong and looks like 69. She lately has been having some middle and lower back pains which woory me so since apparently this chemo is not working (Caelyx or known as Doxil). How common is it for OVCA to spread to spinal cord or to the bones?

I´m so grateful, specially when I see cases like my Mom's neighbour who just passed away last Friday of endometrial cancer. She was Dx 1 month and a half ago, had surgery and had recieved her 1st chemo 5 days before she died. This is so sad, so sudden, so unexpected.

A hug and blessings for all
Liz

    Congrats
I will celebrate your Mom's milestone as well. Sounds like it has been a very busy 3 years for you all!! As far as pain where she is experiencing it,I do recall reading about constipation..which could be the reason. There is only a 1-2% chance of ovca going to the bones....but if your concerned ask for a bone scan...I did and found out my bones were fine. Good luck with your up coming baby girl..and I'll keep your Mom in prayer that she sees many more years with your family.~~~Joanne
