Jana 11
My heart is broken as another link is missing in our Semi-colon family.
Rest in peace, dear, dear Jana!
Love,

Thanks for letting us know Kay
I am glad she was able to come home Fri. after a long stay in intensive care. What a fighter and such a beautiful person. I will always remember her wonderfully brilliant smile, one of the best I have ever seen.
Jana, give my love to Kerry and Bud, don't make Bud dance too much and save a spot up there for me.
My love always,

I am so sorry
My deepest sympathy to Jana's husband and her family. What a loss. I had talked to Jana several times on the phone over the years. She was such an inspiration to us all and managed her disease with such grace. She helped me so much when I was going through treatment. She had even trained with the surgeon that I had. She will be missed by so many people.

Jana was one of the very
Jana was one of the very first people that I met through this forum, way back when I was initially diagnosed in 2005. We started communicating regularly because we were the same age and had common interests. She was often a great source of comfort to me, and always a lovely person.0 -

Jana was also one of the first people to respond to me here (back in June 2005). She was incredibly helpful and supportive when I faced the possibility of lung mets in June 2006. I was scared to open this thread, because I knew it would most likely be bad news.
Jana's friends and family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Her spirit lives on
Thank you for posting this news. Jana was a long-distance buddy and My Hero for many years. She and I had some similar medical history and she was a great source of information to me. But also such an inspiration in terms of her active, positive approach to her medical challenges and to life. My heartfelt sympathies go out to her husband, family and friends. I'm broken-hearted -- but her spirit will certainly live on -- for me and for many, many others.

Jana was the picture of awesome
I had the privilege of meeting Jana at Colon Palooza 5 in Nashville, TN last year. She and I spent one of the days at a wine tasting (my first ever!) and I remember it as being one of the best times I have ever had. She was such an amazing person. Although I met her for the very first time in person last year, I felt as though I have known her for a lifetime. She had a terrific way of making a person feel really good inside.
Anyone who ever met her knows the world has lost an awesome person. My heart goes out to her husband, Peter, who truly was the love of her life.
Warmest hugs to all,
Stacy0
