2nd chemo

Had second chemo today. Doc just gave me the abraxane. The avastin will just be every other week. I was really surprised after the first round. The abraxane doesn't have all the harsh chemicals to deliver it and I didn't have any real side effects at all. Not even the bad taste that you normally get. Even my blood counts. You aren't suposed to get the benedryl treatment before it either, but I guess my doc is playing it safe instead of sorry. If all stays this way AND it works, I don't think it will be too bad. I do realize that it's all probably wishful thinking on my part, but for now it's keeping my spirits up. It's really awful to spend your time being worried about whats gonna hit you next. Grandaughter, Izzy who is 4, will be here tomorrow so I hope this "good" sticks around for the weekend, at least.

Hugs and prayers,
Linda

    Happy, Happy
I'm so happy that all is going well so far. Maybe this is the way it will be all the way through. Let's hope so. Positive thinking. Enjoy your grandchild. I just came back from babysitting my two boys and I feel renewed. Grandchildren are fantastic! Hugs, Marilynn
