Hair is growing

I just finished with 2nd round of chemo (Taxotere and Cytoxan) and noticed new hair growth this week. I have two more treatments and then radiation. I'm wondering if I will keep this new hair or will it fall off again.

    Not sure - mine started to grow right after I shaved my head after second treatment - so far so good it has stayed in. (I do kind of pull on it to make sure every so often)

    Hi Girls: Mine also grew in after shaving it off. It was fuzzy for a long time and then it just started to grow and thicken. It came in very curly, but now it's the same texture and pre-chemo. Hugs, Lili

    Hi Derbygirl

    I had 4 rounds of adrimician/cytoxan. Then I had 4 rounds of taxotere. My hair started growing back after the a/c and continued to grow while I was doing the taxotere. Before I was finished with rads my hair was long enough to stop wearing hats.

    Mine feels kinda prickily?? Is this normal? Granted I have no hair but this little pricker bush type feeling. Kinda weird and itchy. Thanks, Kit

    Hi Derby: Yes, it started growing in after 2nd treatment but very fine and prickly. The good thing was that it then got stronger after chemo and grew in fairly quickly. Hugs, Lili

    Hi Kit: Mine was prickly also, but grew in fairly quickly after chemo ended. It will get better. Hugs, Lili
