I'm back...WHEW!
The house in Holland is now secure, and ready for us to put our 6 months here/6 months there plan into place...don't know if or when, I still have my mother here, and she is not completely well.
Sadly, we returned to news that our one remaining cat has gone missing...sigh...
I thought many times about you all...but I was on VERY slow dialup computer access, so this site wouldn't even load correctly...
I send my hugs,
hugs, Kathi

Welcome Home
Welcome home, Kathi! I imagine your own bed, and perhaps your own bathroom were a particularly welcome sight!
Glad things went well in Holland; sorry your mom is not well, but I trust all will fall into place as it should.
Hopefully the cat will find its way back home to you as well!
I will be in touch, as "rumor" has it you are having company from Washington starting tomorrow??? I am not sure if I can, but I am trying to find a way to meet up with the two of you~ it has been too long! I'll let you know!
Take care of yourself! You'll need your energy! :-)

Welcome back
Hey Kathi: So happy to have you back and glad everything went well in Holland. Sorry to hear your mom is not feeling well, hope she gets better soon.
Poor Kitty, hoping he/she finds its way home now that you are there.

Welcome back! I saw your
Welcome back! I saw your picture on your web page a long time ago when I first found this site. I saw your short hair, and thought, "How cute! How long! (compared to my bladness)" and lastly, "I can't wait till my hair looks like that." Tonight when I saw your picture next to your post and considered my hair, guess what? It looks like that! This may seem silly, but I have had this goal for many months and I am pretty emotional about it. Funny - the things we set as goals and the amazing amount of strength and meaning they can give us.
Thanks for the picture! love, Joyce
P.S. I am sure your hair is much longer now. That's okay - I need a new goal!0 -
We had to postpone...sigh...chenheart said:Welcome Home

I ended up in the ER yesterday from dehydration from this darn flu!!! Nearly passed out at a client's, they bundled me up and took me to the hospital. Once there, the tests also found a slight heart problem, so they kept me a bit longer, and fully hydrated me (I am STILL peeing...lol!). All seems a bit better today, but I am still weak.
As a result, I called Sharon and we decided to reschedule. I will keep you posted as to when...sorry for the false alarm!

Dang girl~ when you make a grand entrance, you don't fool around, do you??? I am glad you have been rehydrated, and that you were back home to get to the Hospital. Not that there is anything wrong with a hospital in the Netherlands, the Hollanders would have taken great care of you I am sure. Just the same...I'm glad you are home~ and peeing!!
Let me know whaen you and Sharon reschedule~ I really want to get together! Palm Springs, maybe? We can "take in the waters" at the Spa.....
Hugs,
Claudia0
