Taxotere
I didn't have A/C, but had T/C. I can tell you that the Taxotere not only stopped my hair folicles from producing all hair, but it stopped my nails from growing, too. It attacks any and all cells that multiply rapidly - not just any errant cancer cells in your body. So, my guess is that the Taxotere is doing it to you again. I'm so sorry that you had to go through all of this for a second time, but I can tell you that my hair is growing back with super speed and it looks healthy and shiny. Hang in there. Maybe someone else will be of more help. Hang in there. Hugs, Marilynn0 -

Hey Marilyn,
I was wondering if I can ask how long its been since your last treatment? As you mentioned your hair is growing in fast. I am just 3 weeks post chemo and not a hair in sight. Thanks, Kit
I have not experienced taxotere. I had 4 rounds of A/C. I'm hanging right with you scar and you and I can compare hair growth together.0 -

Hey kit - I'm not quite 5 months out since my last chemo - April 19th. I stayed bald for a month or so, then the little white hairs started popping up all over - followed by black and silver hairs. Now I kind of like my "do." In fact, my friends think I should keep my hair this way. I don't about that - but it feels good. Keep hanging in there. Hugs, Marilynn0 -
My hair started growing back
My hair started growing back on Taxol before last infusion. My onc. told me it would fall out again. She was wrong, but I write that as evidence that does seem to happen that way. Just a little longer and you will be using creme rinse, promise. love, Joyce0
