Going to work on Monday!

I am sooooo excited. I have my release to return to work on Monday. I will be going back on an as needed basis. The hospital I work at has been so helpful in the 7 months I have been off. My Doctor released me with no restrictions, but my co-workers have said they are not letting me work myself silly. I will be doing 1/2 days for a while. Isn't it great that an employer and co-workers will back up an employee like this?! They have done so much for me. I never ran out of meals while I was going through treatment, I receive cards in the mail almost daily, and the fundraiser they put together for me and worked so hard at is beyond words. I can only describe it as overwhelming. Now when I see them on Monday I hope a simple "Thank You" is enough.
Many Prayers,
Tracie

I hope all goes well on your re-entry into the work place. I had so many people out there helping me after surgery and chemo that I could never thank them all like I wanted to. People are simply amazing!! Good luck and take it slow..~~~Joanne
I'm so happy for you! Don't over do it. Ask for help when you need it. And have a blast.
May God's Blessings Rain Down On You!!!

Congrats!
Tracie - I remember the feeling well. I went back to work Jan 2, 2008 after being off for 6 months and my work place was amazing. I not only had donated leave from people I did not know, but my boss and administrator did everything in their power to work little miracles to keep me off that whole time so that I could heal and come back to them. I was simply amazed and blessed and overwhelmed knowing that they cared that much.
Pace yourself when you return - I felt ready to go, but it was a while before my stamina was back to normal. I also had a pretty bad case of chemo brain so we got a lot of laughs from that - sometimes my coworkers would look at me like, seriously? We just talked about that - but I had already forgotten. It does get better.
I am so happy for you! Take good care and let us know how your first day back goes.

Happy for you
The best you can do for them is to go back with a big smile on your lovely face!
They will be so happy to see you doing well and looking good.
I have found that people really want to help and it's ok to let them. By letting them help you you brighten thier day too! The best way to say thank you is to stay as healthy as you can, that means asking for help when you need to, and help others if you get the opportunity to.
Good luck,
blessings to your "angels"
