The next step
I met with the radiologist and his staff today - am hopeful it will go well and I will soon be on the other side.
Will meet with the oncologist in two months and go from there.
Bless you all a million times for your advice help and support. I will continue to check in and keep you updated.

Well Wishes To You
I hope everything goes well for you with the radiation. Lots of good luck. I will also be starting radiation tomorrow. Thank God there is something else that can help you fight this since chemo wasn't being nice to you. How are your feet feeling now?
Hugs to you,

It took a total of 16 days but can finally walk without pain - wow that was quite the mess - between the mouth sores, the stomach being torn up (which was a lot of fun crawling to the bathroom) etc. Think I could have handled all of it if my feet hadn't been attacked so severely - I was taking double doses of percaset and it didn't even touch the pain. The doctor said its rare but it does happen. Right now feet are peeling like snake skin but anticipate back to normal by the weekend (maybe).
Thank you for asking and not being disappointed in me for not being able to continue.0 -

My dearest Friend, So sorry you had such a bad reaction to chemo. Felt really bad that you had to experience such pain as if we don't have enough to worry about. I'm glad you are doing better and going on to the next step. Please don't feel that we would be disappointed in you. How could you even think we would? You've had a terrible reaction to the chemo meds which is not your fault. Maybe when you go back to the oncologist after your rads they may decide to treat you with something else. Keep us posted with your progress and know we are always with you. Hugs, Lili0 -
We applaud you!!!
NO ONE is disappointed in you for "not continuing"~ that isn't even true! You ARE continuing to do battle with the Beast, and you have a new option in that battle open to you. Bless you and more power to you! Some of us get radiation even prior to surgery to hopefully shrink the tumor~ this is no different in the scope of things. Whatever we can and are able to do is just what should be done!
It matters not in what "order" we go through this~ the end result is that we are active, vibrant women ( and you too Bill!) living life to the fullest AFTER cancer.
We thank you for sharing your experience with us. I must say that we are saddened not by your change of plans, but by the inordinate amount of suffering you went through. You will be a great source of encouragement who come to this battle after you, just as you are to all of us now.
Keep us posted, sister~ we walk with you!
Hugs,

on your side
We could never be disappointed in you. You are doing what you have to, and it's not your fault those meds didn't agree with you. Continue doing what is best for you and you too will beat this horrible, awful disease!!!!!!! Remember, we are all here together and in it together one way or another.
Best of everything to you,
janny
please keep us posted on how you are doing.0
