Monday is my last chemo and my oncologist told me I do not need taxol (had negative lymph nodes) and no radiation (had mastectomy). I will take tamoxifan, of course.
This has been quite a journey for me since I sent my first post back in early May (I think) which asked for help as I was newly diagnosed and so, so scared. I don't post much but read every day to listen and learn from the most amazing women I have come to admire and respect.
Here is my message to all of you to say THANK YOU for being here with me and answering my concerns and others concerns. The knowledge, courage and compassion is truly one of a kind and I have a family of friends I will always be connected. I'm not going anywhere and will be here each and everyday to read and hopefully help others as so many of you have done for me. Who knows what the future holds. I will live everyday to the fullest.
Special Thanks to NorcalJ who is so special and way on the other side of the country from me. You are amazing. Love, Kit

    You're Very Welcome!
Congratulations on finishing chemo, and for finding your way through this maze called cancer. I echo your thoughts that we are an amazing group of survivors...the best ever! We admire you just as much as you admire us! :-) I am 4 months from finishing 5 years of taking Arimidex~ the time you are taking Tamoxifen will fly by, believe me!

Welcome to the other side of cancer, and Hooray for you!!!!!

    Hugs,
    Claudia

    congratulations Kit,

Its a great feeling isn't it, am same as you, no further treatment after my last chemo (4 weeks ago) and start my Tamoxafen today. Will be interested to know how you go with yours, ive heard different stories about side effects.
Again, bloody well done to you, we are all some tough women (and Bill) to get through something as awful as chemo and come out smiling. big hug, xx
