Easy way of changing an ostomy pouch .

I have figured out a way to replace an ostomy pouch without the adhesive pulling and hurting the skin as it comes off. There is an "adhesive remover" you can get with ostomy goods that comes in a towelette and if you will open it up and rub it completely around the adhesive on the pouch and wait for 5 minutes it will soften it up enough to pull it right off with no hurt at all. You may have already done this but those of you that are new as I am to ostomies and pouching systems this is a Godsend to me. No more peeling skin off of your stomach anymore. I use the Flexstens and after 5 days they come off easily with the remover, and it has an orange smell that is refreshing.....
