I am so glad that you are feeling better. Each very long day means that you are getting closer to feeling better again.
I do have a question about pain. I am the world's biggest chicken when it come to this subject. Pain is what scares me the most about this whole thing. I am lucky to have very minimal things now. So, don't they give you plenty of drugs for the pain? I know that after my resection I was in pain, but did have drugs which made it OK. Maybe, my memory is faulty.
Anyway, so glad you are doing better.

Hi Linda, you are correct on the pain. for me, my Onclolgist is always willing to help me deal with the pain. his goal is to take a pain that is above six and bring it down below a 3 or 4.apache4 said:I am so glad that you are feeling better. As the months have passed, I have found that where it was taking 3 or 4 percoset to do the trick, I am now on the stronger version endoset and have taken up to 12 a day.
currently, i am taking the pain meds to ween off them as my mental side needs them far more than my physcial. I would have to say that i am back down to about 6 per day and plan to be a 1-2 per day by the end of the week. who know maybe it will work.
at some point when pain can not be managed, that is when the suggest hospice and they offer the **** that just knocks you out. I am a big wus also, I am quite strong when it come to will and ability to push myself but when i have an ouwey, I have to tell the world.
focus on the positive, you will not need pain meds as your cancer will not grow so therefore it will not hurt.
