ovarian cancer undifferentiated

That just means that they can't put it in one of the four known categories of ovarian tumors. Have you googled "undifferentiated ovarian tumors"? That is what I do when I have a question that the doctor hasn't answered or I forgot to ask. I do have a degree in biology and still find some of the sites above my head but most of the time I find good simple answers. I am sorry that you have had to come to this site but welcome. There is a lot of support here from all of the ladies. My tumor cells were serous pappiloma carcinoma and I am Stage IV and will have my 19th chemo tomorrow. Have you had the debulking surgery or did they do a needle biopsy? Hugs for you and come back often. Saundra0

Laura, Saundra pretty much answered the undifferentiated. I just wanted to say you are recieving the Gold Standard with or without the avastin and that is good. Keep us updated on how you are. You'll find the women here to so helpful and caring and sharing. Bonnie0

Bonnie, thankyou so much. i just got home from my 3rd chemo. I really hope I'm getting the avastin not the placebo because my cancer has clear cell qualitys to it an thats what colan cancer has and it works real well on it. i was a little nervous today because they did a lung x-ray last thursday and there is a little spot on my lung. they don't know if it,s cancer or not. be-4 they started chemo they did a c scan and they saw it then but the only measureable peice of tumor that showed up on the c-scan was under my liver because the surgeon couldn;t get it because it was too tangled in the arteries but ir was only 5 cm at surgery and when they did the c-scan b-4 chemo it showed up at 3cm they said it probably hadn't shrunk but it was just the way i was laying but it least it didn't grow. wow now that I figured out how to use this It's great. thanks for letting me unload god bless everyone and remember god is in control. Hi, you can tell if your on avastin by the side effects. I have been on carbo/taxotere/avastin twice now, after a remission. avastins side effects are, runny nose, runny eyes, hoarseness in you throat, sometimes bloody nose. So if your on it you'd have these side effects. Hope this helps.Lauracec said:Bonnie, thankyou so much. i just got home from my 3rd chemo.
