DONE WITH CHEMO!!!!!!!!!

Happy to say I had my last round of chemo July 11, I'm finally on good days, since the last 2 rounds where butt kickers. Next is radiation which will start on Aug. 13th.

    Congradulations to you!!!! I'll be having my last round aug 5th and i cant wait till it's over. I've been out of work since jan 4th and i'm going back mon the 28th. Finally i can get my life back on track. I dont know if i have to have radiation, maybe i might. My dr.had talked about it before but hasnt bought it up since. I do know i'll be taken tamoxifen after my last drip.

    Ninja, I guess you missed it...I put a note up for you in the bathroom at Kaiser Roseville since you were having an infusion the day after me (weeks ago). The nurses said I could. Anyway, the note said "I love you Ninja!" and it still holds true. Congratulations on finishing.

    Thank you, I didn't see it. I only went to the bathroom once at the end and I was pretty out of it. When do you go next to Kaiser? I go back to work on Aug 1st but can meet you there next time you go. (I work accross the St. from Kaiser) Let me know

    I go back to work Aug. 1, have been out since begining of April. After radiation I will start Herceptin for 17 rounds.

    Will be thinking of you on the 5th....from then on nothing but good days :)

    brilliant, well done you. my last chemo is next week and no radiation so my new life will begin soon. Don't know about you but last 6 months have been a fuzzy blur, it will be good to think clearly again

    I would love to meet you! Is your work a drop by situation? My next herceptin in on Thurs. from five to seven, a day before August 1. But I got another one three week from then, after you start working. Shall we plan for that time, either before, during, or after at your convenience (hair optional).     Thursday sounds good, I can meet you any time, I won't be working and I also live almost walking distance. Let me know what time you get there and I'll be there.

    You're right! It seems like the last 5 months have been like a dream. I'm glad you'll be done next week.

    Horray. you got through it. What a relief isn't it? So happy for you. Now, you will see yourself get back to some semblance of normalcy and having many more good days. Keeping you in my prayers. Lili

    I laughed at the sign on the bathroom for you from JoyceLouise~ isn't that just like her?? LOL

    I hate to admit that I have been in Sacramento for the last 10 days, but will be heading back to my little Santa Ynez on Monday morning. My heart wanted to get together with you 2 sooo badly; my schedule wouldn't allow it. I was here visiting family- including a brother who lives in France, and his darling 19 year old son who the California contingent was meeting for the First Time!! As you might imagine, my days were filled with going here and there, and dinners out, laughing, telling family history stories, catching up and making new memories.

    I hope I can arrange to have coffee/tea/lunch, SOMETHING with you and JoyceLouise the next time I am in town!
