Well wasn't that fun! I now have three 15 cm deep stab wounds in my left kidney area. The moral of the story"Never turn your back on a doctor, they are a dangerous species".
My kidneys are deep and the biopsy is done under local anaesthetic. I don't feel much pain but THAT HURT. And he may have to re-do them . He got one good biopsy one partial and a clear miss. I'm not sure why but the bioposies have to be sent 1200 miles interstate to be evaluated so I will not know anything for two weeks.....sssiiiigggghhhh.
Thank you all for your kindness and support,I will let you know what happens. Ron.

I had a biopsy on the lining of my liver in '05. Kind of like sticking an ice pick in your abdomen. I had to stay overnight in the hospital just in case any bleeding started. I got good results and I hope and pray that you do too.

OK, since we are trading needle stories: 5 biopsies of my thyroid, all under local; it's not much better keeping an eye on that large needle going in, nor feeling the pressure on your throat; aaccckkk.
My biopsies were benign, the disease treatable; here's hoping the same for you.
All the best, keep us posted. Judy

I haven't been around much lately, so I missed your first post, dearheart.

I am sending my biggest hugs, and my best prayers that all will be well, and it is something treatable.

I sit here while worrying myself about 2 'bumps' in my anal area...sigh...hopefully nothing much to worry about...I really DON'T want to battle the beast a third time, if I can avoid it...so I can feel your pain!

Here's to both of us putting all of this 'behind' us...lol...

    Hugs, Kathi

Dear Ron: Yeouch!! Thinking of you now, as you wait for the results. It's a very particular kind of torture, isn't it? I still have all those fingers and toes crossed.....
