I have noticed in several posts that the person has had their last few treatments bunched into one - what would be the purpose for that? Wouldn't that throw the side effects into a tizzy? I am just wondering - maybe I'm chicken, but one at a time is enough for me.

I think that would be the exception, not the norm, and I think it would be a decision for the Dr. and Patient to make together, not sure what the reasons might be. It seems to me that one at a time would be best, but talk to your Dr. about what is best for you. Maybe someone who has done that will respond to this post and tell you their reasons.

    Best wishes, seof

Some treatments are done on a weekly basis and other treatments are done either every 3 weeks or once a month. If you are on the weekly cycle and miss a couple of treatments due to low blood counts or illness, then the dr can administer more doses together because you've had a break in between. You would just get more of the stuff in the infusion. Hugs, Lili
