I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer just over a year ago while pregnant. I had my beautiful daughter in August and then underwent chemotherapy. We've talked with the doctor about number two as he said we need to have kids soon so my other ovary could be removed. Has anyone had experience with this?? Other things that might be helpful I'm 27 and have immature teratoma ovarian cancer, in remisson since December.

I've not heard anyone else talk of this on the site, but wow - it's amazing. To have gone through that and have a healthy child is wonderful. We have a couple of really young girls on the site but they've not had children yet. I hope you can find someone who can be of assistance.

Best of luck with everything. You are an inspiration. Kris

I'd love to 'meet' the other younger ladies! I'm searched and never seem to be able to find anyone my age who has either gone thru or is going thru this! Its werid being the youngest one at the oncologist by at least a decade if not two.

My next check up is in July and that will be seven months cancer free, I need to discuss timelines with the oncologist, what they feel is 'reasonable' time before I need to go ahead with the complete hysterectomy.

A lot of this is just me starting to talk outloud and being dealing with the future, so many overwhelming things in such a little time didn't really allow for me to do this before.
