There is no reason to think that everything will not be fine, Stage IIA has a very good prognosis. I know it is easier said than done not to worry, but as Apache said, it is time wasted. Enjoy the week and try not to fixate on the tests. BTW, I can see no reason that you should wait that long for your results. If you had your tests done last week, just call the doctors office, talk to the nurse and tell them you want your results! They should be on the computer on Monday even if you didn't have your scan until Friday. Call them - they will probably give them to you along with your blood tests. Mine do.
Good luck,

Scans are always nerve-wracking. Hang in there and keep us posted!

Pam,
My hopes and prayers are with you. I hope everything is fine (I'm sure it is)!

I agree that they should have the results now. Although, the fact that they didn't call you is a good sign. Anytime my scan was not too good, I got a call ASAP. Nothing is as unnerving as hearing the Dr.'s voice on the phone! Good thoughts coming your way from FLorida. Linda0

My thoughts are with you. I just finished my 6th month and they found something in my ovaries. Long story short and a lot of anxiety it was only a cyst. Hang in there I'm sure everything is going to be fine. We seem to be on almost on the same schdule. I had my colonoscopy in Jan. my 6th month in March. Now I finally get my port removed which is a day I've been looking forward too. Keep the faith and I'll be thinking about you this week. Yeah, Pam. My oncologist called me himself on my cell at 6:30 the day after my scan--a Friday, no less, so no news is probably good news!apache4 said:I agree that they should have the results now. (My news wasn't all that bad, he was just concerned about some scar tissue on my spine--no tumors or anything)0
