I know a couple of check Caring Bridge.. for you this is a repeat. :-)
Just a quick note to let you know I have to go in for chemo tomorrow and then again in three weeks. My ca125 is still moving upwards and my Dr wants to see if getting the treatments closer together again will change that.
So chemo tomorrow, a ct scan on the 14th and chemo on the 22nd.
I think the last time I had chemo we had storms and looks like tomorrow we are too.
See you all later. Hugs N Prayers Bonnie

Dear Bonnie:
Sounds like you have a lot of storms to weather right now. But I know your spirit and faith will see you through. We'll be watching for updates on your scans. Till then, sending lots of hugs and prayers your way for renewed strength.

Hey Bonnie, Sorry to hear your numbers are going up. I hope and pray things settle down for you soon.
How are you feeling otherwise?
Thinking of you and praying things get better. Sharon0 -
Hi BonnieR, my name is Kelly and this is my first time on the CSN site. I read an entry you placed in 2006 when I did a search of Cytoxan and Avastin. I am about to embark on the two, starting bi-weekly Avastin infusions tomorrow and daily oral tabs of Cytoxan on Friday. Can you please tell me what side effects, if any, you experienced with these? Also, were you platinum refractory or resistant?
I was diagnosed last June 29th and have had three surgeries to remove cancer (one included the hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemo tx), had 4 of 6 IP/IV rounds of carbo/taxol, and just went to MD Anderson in Texas last week to arrive at the current treatment plan. Unfortunately every time we treat, the cancer in my body gets mad and not only returns, but spreads. I currently have it in my lungs, liver, peritoneal cavity, and lymph nodes. Nonetheless, I feel good and have a faith as strong as Samson that everything will turn out for the best.
I do hope your scan goes well, and I consider any feedback you can provide me to be a blessing. Thank you for taking the time, and I hope to hear good news about you, and wise advisement for me as well.
Thank you again,
Kelly0
