Even if not a day or so, you will need help at home. I had my gall bladder out by laproscopy, 4 small incisions, and was very uncomfortable due to the gas the pump in your tummy. You will at least, need someone to wait on yu for 3-4 days.BonnieR said:On my calendar too and in my prayers. But one heads up so you are not dissapointed or surprised, you will be there for a few days I am sure. Bonnie

Hey Jan, :-) I KNOW....it's HARD not to do everything to protect our kids. I'm just today going to tell my 22 yr old daughter who lives far away. It's her day off and she'll need it as she's very emotional about everything.JanQ said:Mine too! Hope you find a clear answer also. Our children are our hearts and I know how it is to worry about them.
Thank you for keeping track of me. Blessings to you. :-)0 -
Hey Nancy, Thank you for thinking of me on the day I have surgery.unknown said:This comment has been removed by the Moderator
About my son, I talked with my doctor and they said seeing as he knows about all my problems up to now, just tell him they're going to see about fixing what's been causing me problems.
I'll keep you posted, but I'll wait until it's closer to the date. :-)0 -

I have your date on my calendar,I know all will go smoothly for you.As far as your son goes, something will work out for you,you have a month to get all your plans in place. (((hugz))..~~Joanne
I'm going to tell him about them going in to see about fixing what's been causing me problems. Also, I'll talk to his school about this, so they'll have a heads up in case there's change in his behaviour. etc.. Kids don't know how to react and sometimes act out in many different forms that can get them in trouble.
I'll let you know how it goes. :-)0 -
Hey Bonnie, :-) No, the procedure I'm having I'll go home same day or next morning. It's the least invasive surgery that's new. It's the daVinci Hysterectomy. It's a method using a robot and the recovery is nothing like other methods. You all can go to www.daVinciSurgery.com to learn more about it.BonnieR said:On my calendar too and in my prayers. Let me know if you check it out, I'd LOVE TO HEAR views on this. :-)0 -

Hey Saundra, :-) I'm SO GLAD it's bein done on a Friday, because I'll have my husband home all weekend. I won't want to be alone at first after having surgery. I do know I'll have to take it easy with lifting and all. I WILL listen to my body and I WON'T be stubborn or stupid. I plan to get all things done ahead of time to be ready. Then...my hubby will have to take care of the rest. :-)saundra said:Even if not a day or so, you will need help at home.
