Dude, I'm with you. I had a "cancer free" PET/CT in Jan. with a minor "shadow" that nobody was worried about (except my wife and I) and they wanted me to have an Ultrasound in Feb. to rule it out as cancer. They said, nothing to worry about and it turns out they were right BUT.........you bet.............it's the 800 pound gorilla thing. He (Cancer) will be in the corner of your room for a long time. Just don't give up hope that he'll never reappear. And, he won't. Be well, stay well. JK0

I'm afraid you are not the only one who worries about follow-ups, BugHunter. I've been at this for years!! I am happy and enjoy life until about a week before I see my oncologist. Little by little I start worrying about new tumors. When onc says no new tumors, all is well, see you in a few months, I start breathing again and start enjoying life again.
The follow ups are important but I have not been able to figure out how not to worry. At least, I don't worry all the time, only for week before the appointment. I have accepted it.
To BugHunter and MLC53, I hope you both have good news and that all goes well.0 -
