Anyone who has had AVASTIN ?

Can I have any info on how this medication works? Why is does Avastin work on OVCA when it is made for colorectal cancer?? Is it administered for OVCA beacause of where the metastasis is located? Does is have good results? Thanks for the info. Liz

    I have not tried it but I go to a support group in Dallas TExas and there are several women who are on it nad have taken it for a while. If give me your email address I will forward it to some of the ladies. Depending on what city you live in have you tried the NOCC web site? www.ovarian.org They have branches all over teh US.
