Question for Saundra

Hi Saundra. Just a quick question for you. You said you were getting 135 mg of Taxol monthly, right? I found out that I'm also getting 135 mg but weekly. I know about the neuropathy and stuff but am wondering about nausea. Do you have to take anything afterwards? I have Zofran, but would rather not take it if I can get by without it. I just had the chemo this morning and so far I haven't gotten sick but they gave me pre-meds of anti-nausea med. so I'm sure that is still in me. Maybe I'll just wait and see if I get sick and if I do, I can always take the meds. Ok, just wondering about that. Take care.

I take generic Phenergan started as soon as I get home every four hours and that took care of it. The first time, I waited until I thru up and so I was sick for about four hours. I didn't have much nausea when I was on the combo of Taxol/Carboplatin so got to where i didn't take the pills unless I got nausea but I did get the pre med IV of anti nausea so that may have been all I needed. e-mail me if you like anytime...by clicking on the envelope icon. I get my dose tomorrow. You take care...Saundra0
