Funny movies!
Do you have any funny movie suggestions?
He always enjoyed British comedy like "keeping up appearances" or "the vicar of dibbly".
I need a libary of movies to keep him from watching doom and gloom on the news all day long
(- and *Yes* his walking is improving dramaticaly since we took him home last week. He broken arm is healing AND he is putting on weight. The problem now is to keep him entertained and in good spirits to get ready to battle stage 4 colon cancer!!!)

I can't think of any movies, but there are two series that you could get him. I don't know if they are along the same lines of humor, but one is called "Curb your Enthusiasm" which is hilarious and the other is "Flight of the Choncords". Both of them were on HBO and I thought they were hilarious. I liked "Keeping up appearances" too, so maybe we like the same sorts of things. You could always get him some Monty Python too or Benny Hill.
Take care,

You got to love Hyacinth and pity her poor husband!
How about My Cousin Vinny, Meet the Parents or A Night at the Museum. They are all sure fire hits for hilarity!!
Makes me smile just to think about it!

(Darn American....can't even spell the name of the show right....lol). But then, come to think of it, on many of the openings, Fawlty Towers was spelled all sorts of different ways.lornie said:Fawlty Towers, for sure!
It's the best kind of british humor! My family loves it.
You know, when I watched my first of these, I didn't see the humor (again, American..lol). NOW, well, I can't stop laughing!
Another offering:The Full Monty....

I just saw "Little Miss Sunshine" on HBO, it's hilarious. It's about a very dysfunctional family that takes their 7 year old daughter to a beauty pageant. It's not so much about the pageant but their interactions together as a family and how despite their dysfunction, they stick together as a family.0
