need prayers - upcoming ct

quick recap - dad diagnosed July 7, 2004, stage 3 colon cancer, 5 positive nodes, surgery, chemo, and thankfully NED since.

Next Tuesday is his 6 month follow-up and once again EXTREME anxiety has set in. I hate these follow ups with a passion. Anyway please keep him in your prayers everyone.

As always I will continue to say prayers for everyone on this board.

    The waiting and not knowing is definitely the worst. I'd say odds are on his side though - 3 1/2 years and he is NED - YEAHHH!!!!! Lets keep this lucky streak going! You and your family are in my prayers. Keep the faith.

    Consider it done.

    I have learned to sort of put the worry aside. It doesn't do any good, and just ruins everything I try to do. It won't change anything, and so I try not to worry. I also am so stubborn about not letting cancer have any more of my life than it already took....I was dx'd in Dec, 2004 with stage III rectal, 6 months later, dx'd with stage II breast cancer. I gave it 1.5 years...that is enough...

    I'm always a little anxious when test time comes. I will keep him in my prayers. Thank you for yours.

    I am well aware of that anxiety. We will have positive prayers for a negative result.
