First visit back at onc today for my hubby and we've all decided to take a wait & see attitude for a while since it's believed Bob is currently NED. No chemo , a ct in March or April, maybe followed by another PET , and no more lovenox..(yey! give the needles a break too after 6 mos)
One year ago today, my hubby came home from colon resection surgery knowing that he had multiple liver mets and was stage IV with a 2 year "prognosis" and told inoperable for liver mets. Today , the outlook is much more hopeful than it was a year ago following his liver surgery in October. Today we choose to celebrate. What the future will bring is uncertain, but it always has been when you think about it. For you newly diagnosed stage IV, it's so important that don't give up hope and be your own advocate and pursue any and all potential options. Keep hope & faith alive. We are very thankful for our blessings . May God Bless you all.

I think your post says a lot.. ( What the future will bring is uncertain, but it always has been when you think about it.) Your words are so true. I am thankful also for making it this far being Stage 4.... I am so happy that Bob is NED..Celebrate, it's a good choice. I am keeping you both in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs, Audrey.0
