Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that you are back on the poison but I know that you can beat this again. I'm sure you will get lots of posts. I can't remember what some people did for skin. Didn't sponge have a remedy? Or ask your chemo nurse or onc? Side effects suck. HUGS. Thinking of you and sending good vibes.

Hi,
I hope we get a president in office that really cares about healthcare woes. The insurance in this country can really suck. I had to wait on an approval for xeloda too. I am sorry you have to do this again. Keep fighting and keep posting. We all care.
Prayers to you, Robin0 -
Hang in there Alta. Avastin worked well for my hubby, along with xeloda and oxal. We had to fight to get approval for the clinical trial he was on . Hoping you hear good news soon. Keeping you in my prayers. Keep the faith
God Bless

I know you are going through a difficult time not only dealing with the chemo, but also now having to worry about whether or not your insuranc will cover this. Please do not give up hope. My dad was stage IV almost two years ago and as of November, he has been NED for over a year. You are always in my prayers!!!

Oh Alta,I am so sorry that you have to go through all of this again, but things will get better allways at the begining things looks worst at least that is how it was with me,hopefully the insurance will approve the Avastin which I have heard is very effective, and shortly you will post here that you are Ned,like hundreds of others stage IV survivors, I will pray for that everyday.0

Hi Ileana,
I'm sorry you're having a hard time but keep at it.......can't wait to hear your good news.
Get some Extra Strength Gold Bond Body Lotion that has the triple action relief (moisturizing, itch relieving, and soothing). Someone gave me some while my skin was all screwed up and it was a godsend.
Keeping you in my thoughts.....
Lisa P. (stage IV, mets to liver and lung....now NED 3 years and 2 months)0
