Happy New Year

As a long time lurker I would like to wish everyone a very happy and joyous new year. I have willingly taken so much from everyone that posts, but have not given anything back!
As a stage 3c rectal cancer survivor, I want to let everyone know that there is hope, even when the doctors say there isn't. My doctors were very blunt with me from the beginning...we wer going to hope for the best...but I knew I had a lot of life left, and here I am...a little battered, a little bruised, but oh so much better and living every second of my life for the precious gift that it is.
So, again, a heartfelt thank you to all the posters on this board for their wisdom and courage. May the New Year ring in health and strong will to each and every one of you.

Happy New Year to all of the wonderful folks here from beautiful Vancouver.
I haven't posted for a while but wanted to send my greetings. I've been doing well... NED since finishing Chemo in late August and enjoying life.
Peace and blessings to all...
Rob; in Vancouver
And ye, who have met with Adversity's blast,
And been bow'd to the earth by its fury;
To whom the Twelve Months, that have recently pass'd
Were as harsh as a prejudiced jury -
Still, fill to the Future! and join in our chime,
The regrets of remembrance to cozen,
And having obtained a New Trial of Time,
Shout in hopes of a kindlier dozen.

Yes, I would like to add Happy New Year to my family here. It has been great to get the support of so many. Haven't had as much time recently to post but read alot of the posts and plan to get my schedule back to post more. I say a sad farewell to those we have lost and a prayer to lose no more and, hopefully, to keep our family here from growing.
God Bless, ****0
