I asked if anybody had this done two weeks ago.
We went ( my wife )to the Cleveland Clinic on Tues. and received
the treatment. They found a total of 7 tumors in the brain. The biggest was 2.2cm. It took 4 hours to do it.
We go back in 2 months to see if it was successful. I highly recommend it. The key is a longer quality of life.

That is great news. I am glad to hear they were able to perform this procedure on your wife. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that it was a complete success. I was just wondering, I can't remember, how did your wife first discover that she had these mets? Was her CEA elevated? Is that a good marker for her?
    Just curious,

I'm glad to hear that your wife was able to have the treatments. My thoughts and prayers are with you for a very successful outcome. My mom had Cyberknife for adrenal mets. Worked like a charm, and the doctors were wonderful. Your right, the key was a longer quality of life. My mom enjoyed almost 3 months of no pain after the Cyberknife. We traveled, gambled, visited relitives and had a wonderful time. Wishing the best for you and your wife.
