Bone mets

Dear friends,
I have not posted in a while, but I have been reading all the posts.
I had a CAT scan last week which showed 3 suspicious 1cm spots on my lower spine (L3, L4). That's the bad news and the good news is that my liver, abdomen, pelvis look good. I'm getting a bone scan next week. My oncologist wants to switch my chemo from FOLFOX to FOLFORI.
Of course I'm freaking out. If these are indeed mets, what if there is more...He also talked about RFA, so at least that an option.
I know some of you have bone mets. I'm curious to hear what you did in terms of treatment or surgery? What is successful?
I would love to hear from anyone!!
Thanks you for your support as I'm hitting another bump in the road.

Hi Christele: I don't know much about bone mets, but I will pray that is not the case when you get your test results. I do think it is a good sign that there are options availabe. Monica0
