Soaring on Eagle's Wings

With heartbreaking sadness I must tell you all that Peter passed away on Sunday November 25 at home, peacefully, with me holding his hand, and sourrounded by the love of his family.
His entire family are providing wonderful support and I pray for the day when there is no more colorectal cancer.
Peter fought the good fight, and finished the race...
"And He will lift him up on Eagles Wings
Bear him on the breathe of dawn
Make him shine like the sun
And hold him in the palm of his hand"

Oh, dearheart, I am sending my hugs.
As well as soaring, Peter is safe and secure in your heart, where he will live on forever.
It's all about finishing the race, it's true. We arrive breathless and tired, but are recharged immediately with a beautiful spirit.

halting in his flight
on limb too slight
feels it give way beneath him
yet sings
knowing he has wings!"

Bev, I am so very very sorry. Peter and you put up such a courageous fight. A big hug and I hope it is of some small comfort to you to know that God is truly holding him in the palm of His hand and he is at peace now. I know God and Peter will watch over you. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers. Please stay in touch .

Bev - I am so sorry for your loss. I know Peter is happier now and happier even still because he died with you holding his hand.
Take care,
