Joanne, I'm so happy that you are going to get to see your doctor today!!!! That 'waiting' stuff is the worst! Maybe that lump is fluid. It seems to have developed so quickly to be tumor. Please let us know right away what you find out, we are anxious for you. My appt on Wednesday went well. Here's hoping and praying for good news! Love and hugs, MM0

Ladies,
Thanks so much for the prayers. I went to see my Onc. and it appears to be a hernia!!! Horray!!Never thought I would be happy for a hernia!! lol..lol. The results for the PET won't be avaiable until Monday..so I won't know if I'm having another recurrence until next week,if it comes back negative my Dr. and I have decided to remove the fluid and have it tested, just to make sure there are no cells floating in there!!
Again thanks for all the support and prayers...Joanne0 -
Wow. What adventures...It is so weird when something like this turns up and you're relieved for a result that would give most people fits. Well, guess that shows that we all develop new perspectives through these experiences. I'd send you a hug but I'm not sure if that might not cause an owee right now. :-) Hope you get a good strategy going and your results come back with news you like.floridajo said:Ladies,

I'm so happy for you! Well, of course, who 'wants' a hernia, but you have every reason to be happy. That happened to me, where I felt 'something' and it turned out to be a hernia. It was small enough that I was able to remedy it with exercise. Maybe you can do the same?floridajo said:Ladies,

Let's agree that our fears drive us CRAZY. Sure good news so far. HooRay!! I saw my oncologist today and he apologized for the wrong ct scan results. Will keep praying the the PET shows no activity. Will pray you get relief from the fluid in your tummy soon. (((HUGS)))floridajo said:Ladies,
