Anyone heard from Jana?
She has not logged in since August...

This is Claudia. A stage 3 rectal cancer survivor from May 2005. Had chemo, radiation, surgery. still having follow up tests. scans clean. last week had pericardial and pleural effusion but no mets. echo okay. having another echo in two weeks. a bit freaked out by this.
i am sorry i have not written in a long time. to newbies, hang tough. this is a long tough road but keep swimming! i have a 2.5 year old daughter who has been my inspiration. i even moved to italy for a new job last year. although it has been really difficult, i plug forward and try to not let fear take over. and i pray a lot.
i am doing well and have lost dear friends but have more friends who are doing very very well.

    Have not heard. Tried to check email but having problem with that. She may be busy but will see if she can be contacted. Glad you posted. I am a stage 2 rectal cancer survivor and also had some recent tests which made me nervous, and still do somewhat, but have not shown any definite signs. The waiting to see what is next is difficult. Keep us posted as to the results of your echo.

    Hi. I'm still here, just been away for a bit. Busy and crazy - but fine. I was in a phase 1 trial at MDAnderson, so I was flying to Houston EVERY week. Yuck. 3 weeks ago my insurance starting paying for the "study" drug so I am getting zapped at home now. :) Aah.
