progress!!!!!

well hello eveyone
i just received mt first c.t.scans since starting chemo.(f.y.i. stg 4 mets in both lungs and liver--receving erbitux , 5 fu pump )(too many tumors to count, mostly small)

so the scan showed that alot of the litttle tumors are GONE and the three other large ones have reduced by 1/3 YEAH!!!! lets just say i was really nervous before the doc said it was good news.

me and the hubby spent the weekend celabrating and i start cheno again tues. i wanted to take a week or two off but since the drugs are working so well-- the doc said to keep on going.

so thank you for all the prayers and i have all of you in mine

    Hi! I celebrate the good news with you! I remember those early days and how scary it all is. Hang in there with the chemo...I would actually get depressed when I couldn't have "my chemo" because of low counts. I knew that it would kill those suckers and it DID! I, too, had too many liver tumors to count. 16 rounds of chemo later, I am NED! Hang in there and keep positive thoughts.

    Great news. My doctor gave me the week off for the Christmas holidays for my other cancer and I was so nervous- I couldn't wait to get back to my chemo chair. You have a great attitude. I am glad you got to spend the weekend celebrating!
