Going Home

Hi Guys: Well, I am going home next week (yippee). I just got the results of the latest c-scan and my liver has grown to 100% and looks beautiful. The clincher, no metastasis. There are small nodules in the lungs, but it is felt that they are likely scar tissue. I need to do a little more chemo when I go home and that will hopefully be it. I feel like I have a second lease on life and cannot wait till my son and I get home to do all the mundane little things that used to drive me crazy when I was healthy.

So great Monica..I'm so happy for you. My husband's liver resection is next week. I'm so anxious! God Bless and thanks for sharing.

That's great news! I am sure you are looking forward to going home and doing the "normal" things again(even the ones that used to drive you crazy) I am so happy for you and wish you all the best!!!
