then I got a letter from the insurance company stating that since I had a hysterectomy(2 yrs ago) I will not need any more paps?! WHAT?? how would they know they are NOT a doctor! jest cuz the plumbing ain't there doesn't mean it is free of diease. SHEEEESSSSHHH. I will be calling my gyno this coming week....
I can't wait til I leave this earth(no I'm not ready yet BUT when the Lord calls my name I will be ready)..my body will be whole and healthy,I will see all those who went before me as healthy and whole! what a joyous time that will be....
Enough rambling..who knows there may be more...we'll see how the day goes HAHAHA

Feel better? I always do after venting...
Actually, with few exceptions, your insurance company is right....a pap takes cells from your cervix...sadly, you do not have one anymore. That does not mean you don't need PELVIC exams...yearly...I had a total hysterectomy 2 years ago with my colon resection...I actually celebrate that I don't need that test anymore!
We all have moments we need to throw a tantrum. The thought of my life ending would be too much to handle. I just got thru battling harder than most people will ever, just to SAVE my life!!! WHAT a waste it would be to end it now!
Hugs, from a been there/done that....Kathi0 -
Hi babs..forget all those numbers..haha
Venting is a good thing, it brings the blood pressure down. Glad we could listen to you. Hope you feel better now. As for leaving so soon..well, just maybe someday you will get on this discussion board and low and behold you will read someones message, and YOU will have all the right words they need at the moment! So..stick around, we all need each other from time to time. Feel better soon.
Hugs,

Hey Cindie, hope you're feeling better by now. I've found these crappy moods tend to come in waves. (damn those waves) Good and bad, up and down. I try to remember the saying "this too shall pass"......sometimes it just takes a long time other than that I usually go to bed early and hope for something better tomorrow.
Deep breaths, be calm and call your doctor.
Hope this helps.
cheers

Oh Yeah!! Venting is definitely good for the Soul! Hmmm..new book? "Chicken Soup for the Venting Soul"???? It is fabulous that we are always willing to wear the Queen of the Pity Party crown, and then pass it on to the next in need!
I always have to call my GP who then sees me and sends me on to whatever specialist. The exception of course, is when I call my oncologist about something causing me to fret.
FEET...don't even start me! I have always taken such good care of my feet, which were as soft as a babie's behind. I still get regular pedicures and get a flower design on my big toes. I border on being obsessive about my feet and have every product known to humankind for pumicing, buffing, exfoliating, moisturizing, etc etc etc. But since chemo, my feet look to me as if I am a shoeless, aging
hippie! Which of course I am, but that's beside the point.
Call your doctor, and scoot over! Someone else wants to wear the crown!

I have complained about my "feet" since my first Taxol treatment, it got the hidden cells alright and THEN some. It has made me walk like I'm 95!
Knowone knows such pain until you've experienced it, and seems knowone I know has! Then I come in here and others know what I'm talking about, well I do hope and pray we all get cleared of this nagging, sore, painful, stinging, numb, pins and needles, like walking on bubble wrap feeling! I did find a good oil that helps the burning, I take it BEFORE a melt down now, NEURAGEN RL all flowers and it works!
We're on the mend now I tell ya!!!!!!!!!!0
