I just wanted to thank all of you who share your expeirences in this forum. I've been a lurker since my sister-in-laws diagnosis in March of 04. She passed away last week and she was extremely private with what she was going through and reading your post often helped me understand what she was going through. Even up to the very end she did not complain or discuss her feelings about her diaganosis. She did however fight for life till the very end. She was like a sister to me and I will miss her as long as I am alive. But thanks to you all, I was able to glimpse at her life with cancer and see her hope and fight. Her story didn't turn out like she wanted but from seeing other stage iv post, it is possible to go on.
Thanks, Muggins

How sad. My heart goes out to you and your family. I had a friend who was diagnosed in February 2005 and passed away in March. It was very difficult for me to watch since we had the same cancer and treatments but her body took a diferent route than mine.
