Hey all...

As you know the Palooza is fast-approaching. If anyone is on the fence about coming, check out www.colonpalooza.com and see if a palooza is for you! That web site shows pictures of past paloozas as well as hotel room reservation info. ROOMS CANNOT BE RESERVED AFTER MONDAY, AUGUST 13, 2007.

    My son Andrew made a short clip as a dedication to Kay ( Kanort ) because she reminded us so much of Mary Tyler Moore

    If you do decide to book a room, e-mail me through this site and let me know. It's important I have an accurate head count for the things that are planned. Be sure to include your "real name" in the e-mail not just your log on here. Plus, include your age at diagnosis.

    did anyone ever hear from Oprah's people about the letter that was sent? Just curious.

    I would love to go to my first Palooza but unfortunaly, I can't as I am still on Chemo and don't think it would be real good for me to go right now. Next year, I sure will think about it!

    (Uh, Oprah isn't really invited. Scouty was just being polite.)

    As far as next year's Palooza, the future (like that of cancer) is uncertain. I enjoy these SO much, but as far as planning one next year, time will tell...

    You can check out Stacy at the Lower Deck Pub in Halifax, Nova Scotia at Colon Palooza 4. Stacy and her sister-in-law were very much enjoying the local entertainment.

    DUDE! Let the record reflect that I never sang a note! Regardless of the consumption of alcohol, there still wasn't enough liquid encouragement to cross that bridge!
