Greetings Family and Friends,
Today, July 19th 2007, is my one year anniversary of
the procedure that has changed my life for the better.
It was on this date last year that I had major surgery
for Stage 4 Cancer. Although my team of doctors were optimistic, the reality was that very few people advance beyond that Stage because we are all aware that there is no "Stage 5." While I don't want to sound fanatical, I have to share with you, my precious love ones (family and friends), my testimony. You see, GOD has kept us and guided us through this storm. We all know that it wasn't easy for me, but I want you all to know that I realize that it has been just as hard on you all as it has been on me. This is why I feel that it is imperative that I share in the celebration of this one year milestone with you all. Please know that I do appreciate all of the Prayers, Love, Support, Concern, and when I wasn't looking, the tears you have shared with me and for me. You all have truly given me my "flowers while I am living." Together we have conquered and "We Are All Survivors!" I have to give special thanks to Sylvia, who as we all know, has been my "ROCK!" It certainly has not been easy for her to go to work and care for sick and dying children at St Jude Children Research Hospital and then come home and watch me experience this because she has seen every aspect of this illness and she knows what it can do; however, you all, my family and friends, have helped us both in ways that you don't even realize. Now that I have your complete and undivided attention, I will close by simply saying " Thank You All!!!"
I Love and Appreciate You!!!
