Hello everyone - recap dx Stage IV with mets to liver and lungs. I am currently in Buenos Aires doing alternative and conventional treatments to beat the beast because I was told in Canada that there was little else that could be done for me. After seven weeks of treatment, I am now scheduled for a liver resection on July 30th. I had given up hope that I could get to the point where surgery was once again a viable option for me, and yet, here I am. Lesson for the day, do not EVER give up. Monica

    So glad you are NOT giving up. Sounds like you have found a way to beat the beast. Please keep us updated on your progress. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Lesson learned---Never give up!!!

    What treatment have you been receiving there? What treatments did you have in the states?

    The surgeon told me after slicing and dicing half my liver that it would grow back in 8 to 10 weeks. It is a very amazing body part!
    Good luck on your surgery Monica. We'll keep you in our prayers and be watching for an update.
