Thanks Rob,
Very funny...I've shared this with my entire family. My colon cancer inspired my brothers and my cousins to all go out and get colonoscopies. I guess after my mom's double colon cancer, my dad's colon tumor and then mine, they finally gathered up the courage to get it done.
Hopefully this will help to keep them inspired.
I will be having my first year post cancer scope next month. I think for my procedure I will ask if they can play that song by Sir-Mix-A-Lot, "I Like Big Butts."0 -
...So..I am lying on the table for my second annual colonscopy...and the GI Guy comes up behind me and says..."Mrs. Callaghan, how nice to see you again" LOL
(Bet he woudn't recognize me face to face if we met on the street)Thank God for Versed that makes us forget the whole darn thing...If only we could forget the prep the day before!

My whole family went for colonoscopies after I was diagnosed. They were all here for the wedding so we compared notes. They were all clear BTW. I guess mine isn't genetically driven.
Have a good weekend!
