Disability, Social Security

Update for everyone, my husband Stage IV with liver mets dx July 05, he sent his paperwork in for disability mid-April, it came back approved last week. No problems or hassles at all, thanks to you on this site who helped us prepare the paperwork.

    So glad that there were no problems. Enough stress with the disease and don't need it from trying to get the help you need.

    Sandy, glad that it turned out well and things went smooth. Does he still have to do the five month waiting period to collect anything? God Bless

    I am glad that his paperwork was approved for disability. He will be able to fight harder with one less thing to worry about.

    Great news! My daughter was just approved for her dad's SSI this month....she is permanently disabled, and when her dad died, I read the fine print and applied....yea! One less thing to worry about!! And for you all, too!!!!
