You were one of the first to nail down your room!
See you there!

I based my list on the sheet from the hotel, and they had only 1 person in your room. I thought you told me you two would be there, but thought maybe plans changed. I'm glad you will both be coming....YOU WILL HAVE A BLAST!!!jams67 said:My husband Don is also ready to meet everyone and somehow not on the list. Thanks Stacy!

I so much wish I could be there to meet you all but, alas, I live in the UK and will still be doing chemo in September. How about a European Palooza next year??

We would love to meet all of you. We have tried to make it work, but we just have too much going on. I know you will all have a great time! Wish we could be there!

I don't believe you, this isn't the last call, LOL! Anyway, I wish I could be there too, but I can really only get away from here from October 15-April 15, so maybe next time.

Colon Palooza is a full-blown celebration of life.sladich said:What exactly is the Colon Palooza?
It began many years ago when a few of us decided to meet in person. The very first event was held in Biloxi, Mississippi. Scouty, Lisa Rose, Andyman, and SpongeBob all met for the very first time in person. Later that same year, we met in Las Vegas. This time, Kerry, MikeW, Kanort, Lisa Rose, Andyman, Scouty, SpongeBob, Greta, Jose, Dana, and I attended. The following year, it was in Austin, TX. Even more folks attended that one....including nanuk, Kanga, scouty, Lisa Rose, Andyman, SuzanneChili, jerseysue, Kanort, Kerry (gracious hostess!), Jana all attended. The following year, Oct 2006, we met in Halifax Nova Scotia. This was hosted by Lisa Rose and there were about 7 of us who attended. This year, we're meeting Sept 12 to 16 in Nashville, Tennessee. I have coordinated many surprises and things to make this one the best yet!
So, call the Hilton and book your room. Anyone can tell you who has attended how great these events are.

I would love to go even though I'm new to the group. I'll check my calendar and get back to you. It states in your message to email you so you can get an accurate count. Do I do through this message board or somewhere else. Thanks.StacyGleaso said:Colon Palooza is a full-blown celebration of life.

We'd love to have you. This is a great opportunity to meet folks from here and reap a benefit of sorts from this disease. There is e-mail through this site. Drop me a note when you reserve your room.sladich said:I would love to go even though I'm new to the group. I'll check my calendar and get back to you. Hi Stacy. I called the Hilton and they didn't show the negotiated rate of $159 was available for W-F only Saturday. The regular rate is $299/night. I'll email Sarah Spain at the Hilton to see if she can help. I reserved a room in the meantime until I get it straightened out. Will let you know.0

Hi Stacy,
I received an email from Sarah Spain at the Hilton and I'm all set at the $159/night rate. My husband, John, will be coming with me. So count us in! We are looking forward to meeting everyone. I'll be the "newby". My email address is: dls17@cornell.edu
I look forward to meeting you as well as everyone else. Will I get everyone's real name at some point? I look forward to hearing from you.

I am SO happy that you will be joining us! I also cannot believe that you are affiliated with Cornell University? Or am I misreading your e-mail address? My surgeon at University of Chicago is now high on the food chain at Cornell....Fabrizio Michelassi....or "Oh wise and powerful one" as I think of him! lolsladich said:Hi Stacy,
