Good results from CT scan

Hi everyone...First I want to thank you for your responses to my last entry and for all your wonderful words and support! As you know I am more a reader than a writer but I thought I would write to let everyone know how my CAT scan went...According to my oncologist my CA125 is up to 46 but my CAT scan report came back showing a significant decrease in activity. He said the tumors and lyph nodes that were enlarged in my 10/06 CAT scan are now almost non-measurable. My onc thinks the elevation in my CA125 number could be caused by an irritation in the abdominal wall. We are going to wait until I get my port flushed to draw blood for another CA125 to see where the numbers are going. For now I am on hold. I am hoping the numbers go down so that I can at least have a break from chemo for the summer. Would like to get this tired body back to some kind of normal! Thanks again for all your support! I don't know what I would do without this site and all of you! Prayers and hugs to all of you....Vicki

    That is great news, Nicole!!!! I'll bet that your ca-125 will go down, you must have a inflammation somewhere. I'll be praying that you get the summer off. Last summer I had off and I really loved it so much..I live across the street from the beach!!!! Prayers and good thoughts coming your way..((((hugz))))..Joanne

    Vicki, that is GREAT news! You must be so elated. I certainly understand looking forward to a break, especially during the summer - the warm sunshine, bright skies, fun outdoors. And just think, you'll be able to participate and do the things you enjoy!

    First, cancer is truly no more than an out-of-control reproduction of cells. Essentially a healthy body is completely renovated w/ new organs, bones, complete systems, ect., one cell at a time every few years.

    Last Thanksgiving I had the difficult task to qualify miracles do occur, with whole and complete and proper treatment vs. the mounds of verifiable evidence her oncologist had “advised” her.

    To reestablish HOPE, I instead inspired her to look forward to holding her grand children not yet born of her two (2) sons who are now ages 12 and 15.

    MIRACULOUSLY, she is home with no sign of cancer at all!

    The "Limies" needed Vitamin C! Is Vitamin B-17 any different!?!
